PhD position available! – Plasma-assisted valorization of biomethane and biogas.

We are looking for a talented and motivated student with a background in experimental physics or chemical physics. Experience in the field of nonthermal plasma processing will be a plus. The proposed Ph.D. research project aims to develop and test a plasma reactor to facilitate the thermal cracking of methane and the CO2 dry reforming process. The Ph.D. student will characterize the process to understand and optimize the production mechanisms of valuable products (e.g., H2) and their associated processes.

Kick-off meeting

Fondazione Bruno Kessler and the University of Trento meet to discuss the advancements of H2@TN project!

H2@TN aims to develop innovative technologies for hydrogen production, providing valuable solutions to boost decarbonization and improve the flexibility of energy systems.

The project is funded by the University of Trento (Piano Strategico 2022-2027) and Provincia Autonoma di Trento (Delibera della Giunta Provinciale 2166 – 25/11/2022).

On March 27 the partners met in Fondazione Bruno Kessler to discuss the activities implemented in the last six months and the results achieved so far, the challenges occurred and the solutions found!

PhD and post-doctoral students had the opportunity to present their results and publications!

H2@TN Kick-off meeting

On the 2nd of February 2023, the H2@TN project partners met in person for the first time since the project started. FBK hosted the Kick-off meeting with the participation of the Team members from UniTrento and FBK.

Project partners started a successful discussion on the organization, management, and monitoring of the project and dissemination activity.
